At JB Cabs, we prioritize customer satisfaction by offering a transparent and flexible refund and cancellation policy. Whether you need to cancel a ride or request a refund, we ensure a smooth process with minimal inconvenience.
If you cancel your booking at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time, you will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within 12-24 hours of the pickup time will incur a 20% cancellation fee.
If the booking is canceled less than 12 hours before the pickup, 50% of the total fare will be charged.
Last-minute cancellations (within 1 hour of pickup) will not be eligible for a refund.
If we cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., driver unavailability, vehicle breakdown, or force majeure events), we will provide a full refund or arrange an alternative ride at no extra cost.
Refunds will be processed under the following circumstances:
Prepaid bookings canceled as per the above conditions.
Driver no-show: If our driver fails to arrive at the scheduled pickup location without prior notice, a full refund will be issued.
Ride not completed due to technical failures from our end.
Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.
If payment was made via UPI, net banking, or credit/debit card, the amount will be credited to the same account.
For cash payments, refund claims must be made via email (jbcabs.com@gmail.com) with proof of payment.
Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
No-show by the customer: If the customer is unavailable at the pickup location and does not respond to calls.
Late cancellations: Cancellations made within 1 hour of the scheduled pickup.
Change of mind: If the customer decides not to take the ride after the cab has arrived.
Unjustified complaints: Refunds are not applicable for dissatisfaction due to personal preferences.
Modifications to the ride (pickup time or location) are allowed up to 12 hours before the scheduled trip, subject to availability.
Rescheduling within less than 12 hours of the ride may incur additional charges.
If the requested changes increase the fare, the difference must be paid before confirming the ride.
Bad Weather or Natural Calamities: In case of roadblocks, extreme weather, or natural disasters, full refunds will be provided.
Government Restrictions: If travel is restricted due to government orders (such as curfews or lockdowns), full refunds will be processed.
Driver Misconduct: If the assigned driver behaves unprofessionally or refuses to complete the ride, the customer is eligible for a full refund upon verification.
